About the Author

Kathy Crockett, Ph.D.
Dr. Kathy Crockett earned her Bachelor of Science in Business and Agriculture at Texas A&M University. In 1993 she began graduate work in restaurant and hotel management for the retail side of the food business and completed her doctoral degree in Consumer Economics with an emphasis in marketing in 1997. Dr. Crockett served as a teaching assistant for RHIM 3460 while completing her master's.

Currently Dr. Crockett teaches in the Department of Business Administration at Lubbock Christian University and continues to research and publish articles related to the consumer behavior of restaurant patrons.
